Caoilfhionn Rose – Horizon

Handmade loops and half-finished fragments went into a room in Copenhagen, and two days of improvising with Danish duo Svaneborg Kardyb turned them into “Horizon”. Their keys and rhythms do the moving, light and restless, while Caoilfhionn Rose sings over the top, warm and hopeful. Rich Williams, her husband and long-time creative partner, produced it with her. Much of the record was written during pregnancy and early motherhood, and “Horizon” sits right in that: new life arriving, and everything bending around it without breaking. It leads “Draw Out Your World”, her fourth album and first for Lost Map Records, out February 5, 2027.
